Grave Beginnings is one of the books I’ve read all the way through. It is an amazing book – fast paced (but balanced with moments the characters can catch their breaths), engaging, page-turning and it leaves you begging for more.
Vincent Graves isn’t your ordinary sort of detective. He’s wise-cracking, cynical at times, oh… and he’s
dead, but he’s not a ghost. He’s a soul occupying a ‘meat suit’ and the only villains he’s interested in are the supernatural kind.
Paranormal detective books aren’t the sort of this I usually read, but this one had me hooked from the first page and I had to read on (I read it twice in fact as I had a hand in the editing). It has an amazing 75 reviews on Amazon at the time of writing, all very positive, with some reviewers calling for it to be a TV show (and I wholly agree with that.
